Serenity

A small lake near our vacation home in Italy. The lake is called La Diga, meaning "the dam," because of the large earthen mound that holds the water in. That day, a storm was brewing in the valley, so if you look closely, you might be able to see the veil of rain under the dark clouds.

Taking Flight

People always seem to be amazed when I say that not only did I capture swallows in flight, but it was completely accidental. I was taking a picture of some towering storm clouds when a flock of swallows decided to photo-bomb.
